FAQ about Art as a Business

Registration started on May 17 for BWS members. Registration for the general public opens June 1st.

If you have always wondered how to turn your watercolor painting hobby into a business, here is an opportunity to ask a panel of three professional artists your burning questions about art as a business.

Format: A Panel of three BWS artists will give a short presentation describing their business, then answer questions about the finer details of the art business.

So that our panel may be prepared, please provide your questions ahead of time to Donna Anastasi: donna@cadlady.com

There will be a door prize of a set of 13 Daniel Smith Quinacridone colors (value about $100).  The first 30 attendees to arrive will receive a sheet of Daniel Smith’s 66 dot sample cards.

The three panelists:

Cost: $30 for BWS members

$35 for non-member

Light snacks will be provided and we will break for lunch.

Checks should be made out to Baltimore Watercolor Society and mailed to Jeannette Birger, 6935 Ridge Road, Marriottsville, MD 21104
