BUS TRIP to NYC

Congratulations to seven of our Baltimore Watercolor Society artists whose paintings were selected for the exhibition, the most prestigious watercolor exhibition in the United States. Three attained AWS Signature Member status this year bringing all seven to that level of recognition!
Registration
Members and their guests:
February 23, 2025 $85/ea person
Guests are paid for by the participant making the registration.
You may invite up to two guest, 13 years or older. If bringing a minor, you are responsible to escort them at all times.
Non-members: March 9, 2025 for $95
Registration closes on April 5th or when full, whichever comes first.

All registrations have to be paid within 5 days of registering. No exceptions please.
Schedule for Friday April 11, 2025
6:30 am - 11:00 pm.
There are three chartered bus pickup locations:
Millersville Park & Ride
8550 Veterans Highway
Millersville MD 21108.
This is on the east side of the I-97 and Benfield Road Interchange.
- Arrive no later than 6:15 am with prompt departure at 6:30 am.
- Person TBD will check people in at the Millersville Park & Ride.
Security Blvd Park & Ride
I-70 & MD122
Baltimore, MD 21229
- Arrive no later than 6:45 am with prompt departure at 7:00 am.
- Person TBD will check people in at the Security Boulevard Park & Ride.
Timonium Park & Ride (Deerco)
2299 Greenspring Drive
Timonium MD 21093.

- Arrive no later than 7:15 am, with prompt departure at 7:30 am.

Bus Travel Schedule in New York City
You MUST INFORM the Trip Organizer if you will NOT be boarding the bus at any stop in New York City or we will assume you will be finding your own transportation to the next stop.
Approximate 11:00 am the bus will arrive at The Morgan Library & Museum.
12:50 pm promptly the bus departs from The Morgan to the Salmagundi Club to view the American Watercolor Society Exhibit.
2:50 pm promptly the bus departs from the Salmagundi Club to the Whitney Museum of American Art at 99 Gansevoort Street.
5:20 pm we will board the bus for the return to Maryland.
5:30 pm prompt departure from the Whitney.
Important: If you are not on the bus by 5:30 pm at the Whitney, we will assume that you have made other plans to return to Maryland.
You MUST INFORM the Trip Organizer if you will NOT be returning to Baltimore on our bus. This is critical!
Drop Off (approximate times):
- Timonium Park and Ride at 9:30 pm
- Security Blvd Park and Ride, Baltimore 21229 at 10:00 pm
- Millersville Park and Ride at 11:00 pm
Cancellation Policy:
- 75% refunds if notified on or before March 20, 2025.
- 50% refund if notified March 21 through April 1, 2025.
- No refund after April 1, 2025
Important:
Registration is dependent upon reading and agreeing to the "Release and Indemnity" waiver that is included on the Registration form.

A light snack will be provided on the bus after boarding.
- There is time to go out for lunch either in place of visiting The Morgan or at the restaurant at The Morgan. Registrants are therefore encouraged to bring their own lunch and consume it prior to arrival at The Morgan.
- Be sure to bring your own beverages for on the bus. BWS is no longer providing bottled water to help reduce plastic waste. No glass containers to avoid breakage.
- For dinner you may grab a quick bite at a local restaurant in the area of the Whitney or buy something from a food truck across the street from the Whitney.

NOTE: Museum fees are not included in the bus trip fee.
- The Morgan Library & Museum:
Adult: $25, Senior (65 and over): $17, Student: $13 (with current ID).
- Whitney Museum of American Art:
- Adult: $30, Seniors & Students: $24, 25 and under for Free
Mask Policy:
We highly encourage all bus riders to wear a mask for your safety in close quarters and to protect any in our midst at high risk or with vulnerable family members. Should any city, county, or state mask mandate occur during the time of our trip, said mandate will be strictly enforced for all bus passengers.
