Due to the high demand for workshops, all registrations have to be paid within 5 days of registering. No exceptions please.

BWS prefers online payments. You can use Credit Cards when paying through PayPal without having a PayPal account. The credit card link is on the lower left side of the PayPal site.

We are pleased to have nationally recognized artist Carolyn Councell, a prize winning artist, teacher of workshops, demonstrator and Signature member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society present: 
'Plein Air on the Magothy'







Supplies: 


At least 6 paint colors.  

Aureolin yellow, Cadmium yellow, Cadmium red, Alizarin  Crimson, Cobalt Blue, Ultramarine Blue.

You may bring greens, but also mix them with t he above colors.  Bring other paints you have & like.

Black & white Gouache are also acceptable'

Paper:140 lb cold press, rough or hot press are preferred.

Palette: plastic or metal with a lid

Sketchbook

2B & 4 B pencil for value sketches,  kneaded eraser

Brushes: 2" flat, 1" flat, #8 round, #4 round.  Other brushes you may have

Water container, water for painting & water for drinking

Portable easel & shelf or table to hold palette.

Backing board 

Clips to hold paper (or tape)

Spray bottle

Sun screen, bug spray

View finder

Paper towels

Camera

portable stool if you like 

lunch,  trash bag.



Please pack a lunch and beverage.

Cancellation: 75% refund if notified no later than one week before the program

Refunds for later cancellations are subject to availability of a substitute participant.
